Corrections

If a fee, form, deadline or step on one of our pages is wrong or out of date, tell us the page and what you found, ideally with a link to the official source. We check it against that source and update the page.

What we can't help with

Your records or applications. We're not the DMV, the EDD or a court. We can't see, change or check your registration, license, claim or case. Contact the agency directly: dmv.ca.gov, edd.ca.gov or your county superior court.
Legal advice. We can't advise on your situation or recommend a specific lawyer. Contact a State Bar of California–certified lawyer referral service (most county bar associations run one) or your court's free self-help center.

We never ask for your Social Security number, passwords or payment details. If someone claiming to be us does, it's a scam.
